David began his career in the financial services industry in 1995 after completing his degree in Economics from Brock University. Over the past two decades David has built a business based on integrity and the highest level of client service. His proactive nature and his commitment to excellence has earned him the trust of his clients and the respect of his industry peers.
David and his wife Cara reside in Jordan Station and have three adult children; Jessica, Liam and Renee. David’s commitment to his family and his faith are the keys to his ability to personally connect with his clients and serve them with distinction & excellence.
Liam Smith
Financial Advisor
Liam joined Redwood Financial Group in 2022 after earning his Business Administration degree from Brock University. As a Financial Planner, he is passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners build confidence in their financial future through personalized advice and planning.
Known for his approachable nature and genuine interest in others, Liam believes strong relationships are at the heart of effective financial planning. He works closely with clients to understand their goals and create strategies that help them protect, grow, and preserve their wealth.
Liam lives in St. Catharines with his wife, two children, and their dog. Outside of work, he enjoys training for triathlons, staying active, and spending time with his family. He is proud to be part of the Redwood Financial Group team and is committed to helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Shari Western
Office Administrator
Shari joined the team in 2008, after spending the last number of years as a home operations manager. Her excellence in client relations and her unmatched organizational skills made her an immediate asset. Shari has a love of theatre, music and all things with personality. Shari finds the most joy in spending time with her husband Troy and 2 children.
